On issues related to the conditions and prospects for integration and integration of immigrants in Italy and, in particular, in Rome, the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas has for some time been particularly interesting, promoting research projects on the theme of emigration.
With particular attention follows the evolution of the new representative figure of the different communities, the so-called added councilors, the representation of non-EU foreigners in the City Council, in the individual Municipalities and in the Town Council of the Foreign Communities.
The FASS starting from the idea that this figure can make an important contribution to the process of integration of foreigners in Italian society is proposed, with them, to understand how the Faculty can contribute to promote a process of social and cultural integration of citizens foreigners in Italy. This is why we thought of meeting them, giving them a voice.
